Viki has joined us with 10 years of experience working in Early Years settings and is a qualified Early Years teacher. She is passionate about ensuring chidren are happy and 100% engaged in their play. Viki is currently undertaking her Level 3 Forest School Leader training and is looking forward to helping to develop the Forest School programme.
Izzy is an experienced nursery nurse working within childcare for 10 years. Izzy studied at Truro College for 2 years and completed a level 3 diploma in Child Care and Education with a grade A. Izzy has gained a wide range of knowledge over the years and has previously worked as a room leader before joining Small Wonders. Once Izzy had joined our team, she soon progressed into successfully running the Red Butterfly room. After a short time, she worked her way up to senior supervisor and then became Deputy Manager.
As a mum of 2, Emma had always been fascinated by children's development so opening a nursery and working with children provided the perfect opportunity to learn more. Emma studied at Truro College and completed an Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
Emma has developed the Nursery Menu and recipes in line with the Healthy Under 5s programme. With Emma’s hard work and determination the Nursery achieved Level 5 status in 2015 and is working towards the new award. Emma is currently working towards achieving the Level 3 Forest School Leader award.

Jo is a mum of 4 and has been working with children since 2009. In 2014 she learnt about Forest School and decided to train as a leader, running the toddler group at Newquay Forest School. Jo loves being outside with the children and watching them challenge themselves to learn to build fires, dens and use tools.
"I enjoy seeing children lern more about themselves as they develop an understanding of their environment, nature and risk-taking. Watching their self-confidence grow is wonderful to see."
Donna has been working with children since 2012 and likes lots of fun and laughter in her room. She is an enthusiastic leader and encourages her team to make sure every individual need of each child is met.
"2 year olds have a lot going on. Their brains are developing so fast that it is often very overwhelming for them. We make sure they have lots of nuturing so that they feel safe and confident enough to go out and discover the world. Everything is a wonder to them and I feel priviledged to be part of their journey."
After completing a degree in sociology, sport and leisure Nic decided that working with little ones was where her heart lay. Nic loves nothing more than seeing her babies laughing and smiling as they explore her room and knows each child inside out.
"I love to research baby development and to find natural resources to stimulate their curiousity."
